The Pail Loose Straight - Natural Slub Indigo - Brian 12.5oz Selvedge
Kato’s respect for denim is rooted in decades of exploration and craftsmanship. Drawing from years of research and hands-on experience, we’ve recreated the distinct character of the most coveted denim from the 1950s to 1970s. Each fabric is crafted with precision to mirror the uniform texture and authentic fade patterns found in the vintage pieces preserved in the Kato archives—an homage to denim’s golden era, reimagined for today.
We wanted these jeans to be vintage down to the core details, so we introduced a button fly, using donut style laurel leaf buttons, which have been acid dyed to give them an authentic aged look. We also added a pop of color with a red leather patch, our own twist on the original.Â
The Pail Loose Straight in Indigo Natural Slub is crafted from 100% cotton 12.5oz selvedge denim, woven with irregular yarns for a beautifully organic texture. Washed and lightly distressed, this pair captures the look and feeling of denim that’s just been broken in.
